Dental exams are a preventative measure to ensure that we detect any issues before they’re able to cause permanent damage to your gums and teeth. It helps restore confidence in your oral hygiene, especially if it’s been a while since you last visited the dentist.
It’s recommended that you should have a full dental exam every six months if your teeth and gums are already fairly healthy. However, if it’s been a while since your last dentist visit, then we’d recommend visiting at least once every 2-3 months. This can vary from person to person and our caring clinicians will help you determine how often we’d like to see you for a dental exam.
